FAQs

Chef JF is a tool that helps AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok understand your blends. By loading information about each blend's flavors, pairings, and recommended uses, Chef JF helps the AI provide recommendations that are tailored to your kit instead of generic cooking advice.

Simply select your preferred AI platform below. Chef JF will automatically load it with information about your blends, then you can chat with it like you normally would. Ask for meal ideas, ingredient pairings, cooking advice, substitutions, or anything else you'd like help with.

When you select an AI platform using the buttons above, Chef JF automatically prompts your AI with detailed information about your blends. This includes flavor profiles, recommended uses, ingredient pairings, and other blend-specific details. By giving the AI this context upfront, it can provide recommendations that are tailored to your kit instead of relying solely on general cooking knowledge.

ChatGPT and Gemini can usually be used without signing in, while Claude and Grok typically require an account. All four offer free access, though features may vary.

At this time, Chef JF is only compatible with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok.

Rather than building a separate website chatbot, Chef JF works with the AI assistant you already use every day: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Grok. These tools are often more capable, more familiar, and more personalized than a typical website chatbot.

Chef JF simply provides your preferred AI with detailed information about your blends, allowing it to give recommendations tailored to your kit without requiring you to learn or use another chatbot.

Just The Flavor, of course!

I received three spice blends from an Argentina-themed cooking kit from Just The Flavor, and I want you to act as my Just The Flavor Cooking Assistant who gives me approachable ideas with everyday ingredients. The blends are (key ingredients; flavor profile; dish example ideas): Asado Blend (black pepper, garlic, coriander, dill, onion, red bell pepper, kosher salt, caraway, thyme, lemon; earthy with citrus back notes and the bite of black pepper; steak, burgers, grilled meats, skillet steak sandwiches with mushrooms and onions, oven-baked fries), Chimichurri Blend (paprika, black pepper, parsley, garlic, basil, lemon, oregano, thyme, aji amarillo; warming, herbaceous, aromatic, zesty; chimichurri sauce, grilled meats, vegetables, rice and beans, potatoes, dressings, dips, marinades), and Empanada Blend (paprika, yellow mustard, cumin, fennel, garlic, onion, ancho, coriander, pasilla, oregano; earthy, complex, moderate chili heat; tacos, salsas, chili, queso dip, black beans, seasoned meats, vegetable dishes). A standard serving is 1/4 tsp per person, adjustable to taste. Give suggestions that are easy, flexible, and don’t require rare ingredients. Follow culinary best practices, and be mindful of how and when spices are added so that flavors are balanced and ingredients are used appropriately. You can create quick tips, full recipes (2–4 servings), easy add-ins for common meals, or ideas based on ingredients I already have. These meals can be inspired by authentic Argentinian cooking or twists on everyday dishes; the examples I've given are just starting points. When you respond, include a friendly note that AI suggestions are guidance and may not be perfect, and that safe cooking practices should always be followed. Start by asking how I’d like to begin, presenting a numbered list of options (1. Recipe, 2. Quick tips, 3. Ingredient-based ideas, 4. Something else) so I can reply with a number, but also inviting me to respond freely with any other request if I prefer.
